Commission - Talia Novak and Ulric Blade

Commission for . They are her Fairy Tail OCs, Talia Novak and Ulric Blade. Here is her description of the scene:

Talia wasn't certain about anything anymore and she didn't seem to care, either. She really didn't see the point of caring about something and know it's gonna be taken away in the end. The projectile mage didn't want to believe or even think like that, but after losing Gray Fullbuster on Tenrou Island and Ulric watching Lenoir die by the hands of Zeref during the Aotea Kingdom war, you couldn't really blame her.

“Ulric-san, do you think we're gonna be okay?”

Ulric remembered the last smile that belonged to the white mage and it took all his will power to not shed any tears. Lenoir would want the archer to live on and fight for the people that he considered precious to him and not feel guilty about leaving her and watching her died valiantly in battle. Her last smile...was his sanity and he would forever treasure it.

Unconsciously, the archer had pulled her closer to him, nuzzling his cheek into the silkiness of her hair. She had the scent of strawberries and mint and it complimented Talia very well. “I can't really say. But I do know that we don't have to feel this way forever. They may be gone and had left this world, but the memories we have of them will never fade away...”

Talia could no longer hold her feelings back and she had shed a tear as the leaves slowly fluttered around them while looking up at the clear blue sky. Gray wouldn't want her feeling like this even though he was gone. The ice mage would want to carry on her will to live and not agonize over something that couldn't be undone. Gray would mock her for acting the way she was acting and she would pulverize him... if he was still around that is.

The projectile mage had leaned her body more against his and pressed her hand on his firm chest. “Thank you, Ulric-san...for being such a good friend and partner to me...”

Ulric knew that Talia had strong feelings towards the ice mage and he was trying his best to comfort her. The archer had lost the white mage Lenoir, but Talia was there for him and tried to break him out of his spiraling depression when it happened. It wouldn't be right if Ulric didn't return the favor to her. That's what a true nakama does.

“Talia-san, you will never suffer alone again. I promise you that we both will never suffer again...”
