Kikyou - Light

I was invited by the Kikyou bar (a Chinese forum for Kikyou - tieba.baidu.com/f?kw=%E6%A1%94…) to participate in a contest, and this is the original artwork I made for it. ^-^ For the contest I had to make a header and an avatar for the forum. The theme was chapter 465 of the manga (Kikyou's death T.T). It's hard to believe it's been already 10 years since that chapter was released...

I didn't want to make something too sad, so the concept here is that Kikyou is happy and free and her light will always protect those she cared for (like when she saved Kohaku).

Even though it's a sad date, I'm happy to have participated in this event! And my entry was the most voted, which makes me feel even more honored.
